# How to add admins and common commands for Satisfactory

This guide covers granting and using admin access on your Satisfactory server. For first boot and connecting, see [Getting Started](/knowledge-base/satisfactory/getting-started-with-your-server/).

There are two passwords:

- **Admin Password**: Full server control through Server Manager (kick, restart, save management, settings)
- **Client Password**: Required to join the server

Set both in the in-game Server Manager.

> [!NOTE] Admin status persists per account
> You do not need to re-authenticate every session.
