How to: Enable RCON for Unturned

RocketMod used to be a popular modding framework for Unturned, but has disbanded and the project was discontinued in late 2019. While RocketMod files may still be on the internet, and you may be able to load them into your server, we do not offer official support for legacy RocketMod at this time.

The following guide is considered legacy content and is not meant to be used in an active server.

Unturned does not come with a default RCON server, luckily the team at RocketMod came up with a solution and integrated the rcon server directly into rocketmod.

Once RocketMod is installed, you can follow this guide to connect to rcon.

Once connected via Putty, you'll be able to execute commands from anywhere via Remote Console. This is a very powerful tool for Unturned Server owners and we recommend using a remote console service for all of our server owners.
