Conan Exiles Installing Mods on Conan Exiles
This guide covers installing mods on your Conan Exiles server. For first boot and connecting, see Getting Started.
Conan Exiles has a strong workshop at steamcommunity.com/app/440900/workshop/.
Step 1: Subscribe and Find IDs
For each mod, note the Workshop ID from the URL.
Step 2: Upload Mods
Conan Exiles mods are .pak files. The simplest install path:
- Subscribe to the mod in your local Steam.
- Find the mod files at
Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\440900\<WorkshopID>\. - Upload the
.pakfile to your server'sConanSandbox/Mods/folder via SFTP.
Step 3: Add to modlist.txt
Create or edit ConanSandbox/Mods/modlist.txt:
Code
*\ConanSandbox\Mods\Pippi.pak *\ConanSandbox\Mods\LBPR.pak *\ConanSandbox\Mods\AgeOfCalamitous.pak
The order matters; some mods need to load before others. The mod authors usually document the recommended order.
Step 4: Restart
The server loads mods on boot. Players must subscribe to the same mods on their client.
