When will Outbound servers be available?
We don't have a date to give you yet. Outbound servers are not on sale here, and we won't announce a launch date until we can actually deliver one. Join the launch list on this page and we'll email you the day Outbound servers go live.
Can I order a Outbound server now?
No. There are no Outbound plans on sale yet, so nothing on this page takes payment and no pre-order is being collected — the button is deliberately inactive rather than hiding a checkout. The only thing to do here today is join the launch list, which is free.
How much will a Outbound server cost?
We haven't set Outbound pricing yet. We price a game against the CPU, memory and storage its server build actually needs, and we can only size that once we are running it ourselves, so any number we printed today would be a guess. The launch email carries the pricing when it goes out.
How quickly will my server be ready once it launches?
Servers we host are provisioned automatically within about a minute of payment, and Outbound will work the same way once it is on sale. It isn't yet, so there is nothing to order or provision today.
Will I be able to install mods on a Outbound server?
We can't promise that yet — mod support is the game's to provide, and we can't test Outbound's until we can run the server ourselves. What we can say is that we won't be the thing standing in the way: every game we host comes with full control-panel and FTP/SFTP file access, so whatever modding Outbound ends up supporting, you'll be able to use it.
Is DDoS protection included?
Yes, and it isn't an add-on. Every server we host sits behind our own network-level DDoS mitigation at no extra charge, and Outbound servers will launch onto that same network.
What happens if I join the Outbound launch list?
You'll get one email asking you to confirm, then one more the day Outbound servers go live. That's the whole list — it is only used for this game, so you won't hear from it about anything else, and every email carries a one-click unsubscribe.
