Continues to bill subscriptions that were set up before we moved new orders to Stripe and PayPal. If your subscription predates this policy's last revision, FastSpring may still process your renewals and hold your billing information.

Stripe's script loads on our checkout and payment-method pages and sets its own cookies (__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid) for fraud prevention. We never see or store your full card number.

Processes PayPal payments and lets you save a PayPal account for future orders. PayPal's script only loads on checkout and payment-method pages, and only once you choose PayPal as your payment method.

Measures how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. Loads on every page and sets the _ga and _ga_<container id> cookies to recognize your browser across visits. By default we allow Google to store analytics data but withhold advertising-related storage (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization) unless that default is changed.

A second analytics tool that loads on every page from our plausible.gameserverkings.com subdomain. In our testing it did not set a cookie or use browser storage, consistent with Plausible's cookie-free design, but its script still runs in your browser and reports the pages you view (and, on the order-confirmation page, purchase totals). We run Plausible on our own server rather than using the hosted service, so this data stays with us and is not shared with Plausible's operators.
Ahrefs Analytics (Website Analytics)
A third analytics tool that loads on every page. In our testing it did not set a cookie, but its script runs in your browser and reports the pages you view to Ahrefs.

Loads only on our order and subscription-management pages, not the rest of the Site, to measure purchases that started from a Bing/Microsoft ad. Sets the _uetsid and _uetvid cookies. Microsoft does not offer us a way to report sales after the fact, so this is our only record of a sale that came from a Microsoft ad.

Powers the chat widget available across the Site, including checkout and your account area. Its script is deferred until you scroll, interact with the page, or open the chat yourself. If you're signed in, we pass Crisp your email address, name, and basic account details (such as whether you have an active service) so our support team has context for the conversation. The widget is disabled while our staff are viewing your account on your behalf.

Collects JavaScript errors so we can find and fix bugs; it loads a few seconds after the rest of the page so it doesn't slow down your first interaction. By default it records your IP address with each error. On our checkout pages specifically, it may also record a replay of your on-screen activity for a sample of sessions, including any text you type into non-payment fields, to help us diagnose checkout problems; this replay is not masked. Error and replay data is sent to sentry.cosmicinternal.com, which is our own server — we run Sentry ourselves rather than using the hosted service, so this data is not shared with Sentry's operators or any other third party.
Cloudflare (Infrastructure & Security)
Every request to the Site passes through Cloudflare first. It handles encryption and bot/DDoS filtering, and it derives an approximate location (country, region, city) from your IP address so we can default to the closest server location and the right currency; that location and your IP are also kept in our own request logs. Cloudflare additionally runs a small script (Zaraz) on every page load that reports basic page context back to Cloudflare; as of this review it was not configured to load any further third-party tags.
