Palworld Teleport Commands, Noclip and Fly

The three movement commands Palworld actually has, where each one has to be typed, and why noclip is not what you think it is.

Palworld

Palworld has exactly two teleport commands, and both move a player, not a set of coordinates: /TeleportToPlayer <PlayerID> takes you to someone, and /TeleportToMe <PlayerID> brings someone to you. There is no /tp, no /teleport, and no way to jump to an X/Y/Z position. A third command, /ToggleSpectate, drops you into a free-roaming spectator view — and it is also the closest thing Palworld has to noclip, fly or ghost mode, none of which exist as commands.

All three are dedicated-server admin commands, and all three act relative to you — so type them in in-game chat, after authenticating once per session with /AdminPassword.

The Three Movement Commands

Command Parameters What it does
/TeleportToPlayer <PlayerID> Teleports you to that player
/TeleportToMe <PlayerID> Teleports that player to you
/ToggleSpectate Switches you between normal play and free-roaming spectator view

There is no /tp shorthand in Palworld

Palworld does not accept /tp, /teleport or coordinate-based teleporting. Both teleport commands take a PlayerID, and there is no third form that takes numbers.

Getting the PlayerID

Every teleport command needs an identifier, and /ShowPlayers is where you get it — one line per player with their name, Player UID and Steam ID.

Which one to use depends on the platform:

  • Steam players have both. Either works, and the Steam ID is the more reliable of the two.
  • Xbox, Game Pass, PS5 and Mac players have no Steam ID. Use the Player UID for these players.

Because crossplay is on by default, a 1.0 server usually has a mix. If a teleport silently does nothing, check you used an identifier that player actually has — see Is Palworld Crossplay?.

Worked Example: Rescuing a Stuck Player

The most common real use of these commands is freeing someone stuck in terrain.

  1. Join the server and authenticate: /AdminPassword YOUR_ADMIN_PASSWORD
  2. List the players: /ShowPlayers
  3. Copy the stuck player's Steam ID (or Player UID on console).
  4. Pull them to you: /TeleportToMe 76561198000000000
  5. Confirm in chat that they moved, then /Save so the new position survives a crash.

Run it the other way — /TeleportToPlayer — when you need to see the problem rather than clear it.

Noclip, Fly and Ghost Mode

There is no /noclip, no /fly and no /ghost in Palworld. Nothing enables them, and no config key turns them on.

/ToggleSpectate is the nearest thing the dedicated server offers. It takes you out of your character into a free-roaming spectator view, covering most of what noclip gets reached for — inspecting a base from the inside, following a suspected griefer, checking a region without walking there. Pocketpair's description adds the control worth knowing once you are in: "switch to spectator mode. You can change with \ key."

Two limits are worth knowing:

  • It is a dedicated-server admin command. It does not exist in a client-hosted world, so "Palworld noclip single player" has no answer beyond client-side mods.
  • It is a camera, not a movement cheat. It does not reposition your character, so it is no substitute for /TeleportToMe when someone needs moving.

If you want flight or wall-clipping in your own game, that is client-side mod territory — usually a UE4SS-based mod, affecting only your machine. How to Install Palworld Server & Client Mods covers it, along with the caveat that Pocketpair do not support modded installs.

Fast Travel Is the Non-Command Answer

For everyone who is not an admin, movement around the map is fast travel — server-configurable rather than command-driven. Three PalWorldSettings.ini keys matter:

Setting Default What it does
bEnableFastTravel True Allows fast travel between unlocked points
bEnableFastTravelOnlyBaseCamp False Restricts fast travel to base camps only
bIsStartLocationSelectByMap False Lets players choose their spawn point on the map

Turning fast travel off is a common choice on a hardcore Palworld server, and it generates most of the "how do I teleport" questions players ask. Palworld Dedicated Server World Settings Explained covers editing these safely.

Where This Goes Wrong

  • You used /tp or coordinates. Neither exists, and the command silently fails rather than telling you why.
  • The player is offline. Both commands act on a connected player. Someone who logged out has no entry in /ShowPlayers and cannot be moved.
  • You used a Steam ID for a console player. Xbox, Game Pass, PS5 and Mac players have no Steam ID. Use the Player UID from /ShowPlayers.
  • You never authenticated. Every command here needs /AdminPassword first, once per session.
  • You reached for the panel console. These three need you present in the world — /TeleportToMe has no "me" when it arrives over RCON. Use in-game chat, and keep the console for server-wide commands like Save and ShowPlayers.

Common Questions

How do I teleport to a player in Palworld?

Run /ShowPlayers to get their identifier, then /TeleportToPlayer <PlayerID>. You must have authenticated with /AdminPassword first, and it only works on a dedicated server.

Is there a Palworld teleport command with coordinates?

No. Palworld has no coordinate teleport and no /tp alias. Both teleport commands take a player identifier, so you can only move to or from someone who is currently connected.

Is there a noclip command in Palworld?

No. /ToggleSpectate is the closest equivalent — a free-roaming spectator camera that admins can toggle on a dedicated server. There is no /noclip, /fly or /ghost command, and no setting that adds one.

How do I exit spectator mode?

Run /ToggleSpectate a second time — it is a toggle, not a one-way switch. Pocketpair also document the \ key as a control while you are in spectator mode.

Can players teleport each other?

No. Both commands require admin authentication, and admin in Palworld is all-or-nothing — there is no way to grant teleport rights without also granting kick, ban and shutdown. Players move around the map using fast travel instead.

Do teleport commands work in single player?

No. They are dedicated-server commands. A client-hosted single-player or co-op world has no admin password and no command set at all — see Palworld Single Player Admin.
